Once all interview and selection activities have been conducted assess the candidates against the requirements for the job. There are basically two types: • The candidate has already got the skills and abilities to do the job • The candidate has the potential to acquire the skills and abilities to do the job The business has to decide what type of candidate they need at this time. Then, if they can cover any extra costs, how much time would it take to get the candidate up to the requirement of the job.
