HR Practice For Payroll Practitioners

HR Practice for Payroll Practitioners

Give feedback on their performance and delivery

Give the presenter/trainer feedback on their performance. Be honest and give them examples of good and bad aspects of their performance (if any). Provide options that they could try, and demonstrate them. Offer further support to encourage them to return. The aim is to make this a positive experience for them along with the new employee. There will be some people who will offer their time to be involved and they will not be suitable. Be careful not to lose their support and if at all possible use them where you can. In some cases the manager may be your boss or the CEO of the whole organisation. It may put you in a difficult position when providing feedback that may not be flattering but it is important to get it across. This is far easier to say than do! Always thank anyone from the organisation that has given his or her time to be involved in the induction process. By building a relationship with these key people they will be a resource that can be used in the future. The other side to this is their support for the induction process in the organisation. Managers, supervisors or even the CEO who actively promote the importance of having an induction process in the organisation will win over others who see little use for it. Thank them for their involvement
